The Jerdon's Bushchat (Saxicola jerdoni) is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family.
Jerdon's Bushchats have an extremely large range and are native to Bangladesh, China, India, Laos, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam. They are possibly extinct in Myanmar.[1]
Still present in small numbers at Inle Lake, Shan State Myanmar on 22nd February 2011. (M.Lindop, personal observations).
The Sukla Phanta Wildlife Reserve in Nepal represents the western limit of its distribution.[2]
